John Wines is an accomplished mortgage industry executive with over two decades of experience in strategic leadership, sales management, and operations. He currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Atlantic Bay Mortgage Group, a role he has held since January 2021. In this capacity, John is dedicated to empowering Atlantic Bay's team members by providing them with the necessary tools and resources for success. He leverages his extensive background to oversee key departments, including Marketing, Information Technology, Innovation, Training, Data, Infrastructure, and Project Management.

Before stepping into his current role, John spent a decade as the Executive Vice President and Regional Sales Manager at Atlantic Bay, where he played a pivotal role in expanding a new region. His leadership was instrumental in growing the team from just two mortgage bankers to a robust operation with over $3 billion in annual loan production.

John's career began at Wells Fargo, where he worked as a Mortgage Underwriter from 2002 to 2005. He then founded and led Homestead Mortgage Corporation as President, serving the Charlotte, North Carolina area from December 2005 to June 2010. His successful leadership at Homestead paved the way for his long-term commitment to Atlantic Bay, where he has become a key figure in driving the company's strategic vision and growth.
