About the event
Some self-employed borrowers are complicated to underwrite, while others are not. A clear understanding of the various schedules and how they impact the underwriting process is crucial in accurately calculating income for all self-employed borrowers. We can help!
In this advanced session led by Marianne Collins of Diehl Mortgage Training and Compliance, participants will go beyond the income analysis worksheets to determine how the various schedules come into play. This session builds upon the concepts in the previous webinar, “The Basics of Underwriting the Self-Employed Borrower.”
Marianne Collins is the Underwriting Trainer for Diehl Mortgage Training and Compliance, a division of KensieMae.
Marianne spent 35 years in the mortgage banking industry, her last position as Senior Vice President of Mortgage Lending for a Central Ohio bank.
Marianne is a former member of the Fannie Mae National Advisory Council. She is past president of both the Columbus and Ohio Mortgage Bankers Associations, a former member of the national MBA’s Board of Directors and Board of Governors, and is the recipient of numerous national MBA awards. In the 2013 centennial issue, Mortgage Banking Magazine named her one of “20 Leading Industry Women."
